Yesterday morning, Brian came wandering into our room and declared,
“I am going to be a B-1 Lancer for Halloween this year.”
I saw a B-1 Lancer today. Not sure how I am going to make that happen.

Apart from him probably changing his mind in the next nine months, I think you can do it! Gray cardboard tube, with some wings out the sides and a pointy hat? Lots of cardboard boxes, duct tape and gray spray paint and you’ll do it
Luckily you have some time to figure it out!
Tough one. But there is a real one down in Denver if you need ideas: http://www.wingsmuseum.org/
It’s one of the prototype B-1A, but I think that’ll be close enough.
They also have a B-52 on a pedestal in front of the museum. Full list of aircraft is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wings_Over_the_Rockies_Air_and_Space_Museum
Uh, yeah Terence, where else do you think I saw a Lancer?
I see them in my dreams . . . whoooooshhhhhhhhh . . .
Besides air shows, I’ve also seen them in . . .
Utah http://www.hill.af.mil/library/museum/index.asp
Nebraska http://sasmuseum.com/
Ohio http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/
You might be an engineer/boy if . . . you get excited about a business trip to frickin’ Nebraska because you can take a day off and drive 3 hours to go see some big chunks of aluminum . . . . even though you’ve seen similar hunks of such aluminum in places like Ohio and Colorado . . .
